Arena League - Final Round - 9th December

Well done to all the swimmers representing maidenhead in the final of the Arena League on Saturday evening. We knew it was going to be a tough season competing in  the Premier League for the first time in the Clubs history. The swimmers gave it their all and the team spirit was fantastic - this was reflected by a huge improvement from our Round 2 performance.

A special mention and huge thank you to all the supporters who with their loud vocal support generated a fantastic atmosphere - this really helped the swimmers to keep their focus and determination to swim well in every event.

SE Winter Regionals - 4th & 5th November 2016

A group of Maidenhead swimmers consisting of Isobel Benster , Emma Hepworth , Joel Lange , Beth Neall and Daria Poma-Kostik were competing at the South East Winter Regional Championships in Portsmouth over the weekend of 4th and 5th November .

Joel had a great championship which saw him win medals in the 100m breast , 1500m and 400m free events as well as being Junior Champion in the 400 & 200IM events. Daria fought well in her events and narrowly missed out on a medal in the 200m breaststroke where she placed fourth in the junior championship and achieved a top 10 finish in the 100m breast. Beth and Emma were competing in the gruelling 800m and 400m events and performed well against tough competition. Finally Isobel at her first Winter Regional Championships was competing in the 50m fly event .

Well done to all our swimmers.
